I paid next to nothing for it in a job lot so i'm not too bothered about taking it back. The reel was only ever gonna be used for my spare rod, I think I will source the bits needed to sort it n see how it is?? If its as crap as you reckon I will sell it on.

Order the parts you need from Ewan, they'll probably be pretty cheap and a doddle to fit. If it works fine then use it, if not then bin it.

There's one of mine at the bottom of Chale Bay if you're interested...

I`ve tried both penn and abu`s.................. and now I only use diawa`s. Just another side to it. Some people love the penns, some people love the abus. I dont like either so go for the other option!
