Some chunky conduit and a connector box and that'll look neat and tidy.
What toys are you planning to install ?

I have already taken the cutters to it ;D And most of the cable wasn't marine spec, so its been ripped out. Starting again. Some chunky conduit and a connector box and that'll look neat and tidy. What toys are you planning to install ? New connector box - with convenient auto fuse slots - fitted. Windlass and new bow-roller installed; although I want to fit additional deck strengthening, but its too cold to glass it in just now. Now starting to plan where to put the new bits. Fitting a Garmin transducer and the GSD22 amplifier, Garmin Network system and 2nd garmin chartplotter. Have fitted a hand-held spotlight; but trying now to source a reasonable priced Jabsco Remote Spotlight. Two new Heavy Duty 1700 gph bilge pumps; one with a float switch going in. Radar Arch with some additional tubes to the rear edge, to strengthen the trailing edge of the cuddy. That will enable the fitting of 3 new antenna; two for VHF radios (one in reserve). The third antenna is a short whip - to be dedicated to an AIS Class B Transceiver (at the top of my wish-list). I'm also looking to fit LED floodlights for the back deck; which will hang off the roof-bar/Radar Arch. Windscreen wiper motors. Would like to have installed 3 on the front windows, but I'm concerned that the two side windows are too small for the wiper arm sweep (on its lowest setting of 83 degrees). Moving the battery forward to be next to the cuddy. Add an additional starter battery with a 3 way selector switch. See-Me style X-Band Radar (booster) Transceiver Inline fuel water filter. New seats Antifoul whilst she is out of the water And a partridge in a pear tree ;D

Wow , a windlass, can only dream of .Megabucks. I ditched my fuel /water filter , something else to go wrong. I have 2 wipers with no probs at all. Those jabsco's look the dogs alright if a bit pricey. The led floods should look good.I am toying with the idea of using strips of 1 metre leds under the sides and rear as they are encased in rubber and cheap as chips.
Looking forward to the photo's

well nick ... what can you say about the wiring, it amazes me what some people seem to do and they wonder why things go wrong. on the toys front you appear to have got it spot on and i should imagine the end result will be as good as it gets. keep us updated with your progress and send the pics.

To be fair Alan the wiring worked fine...just didn't look that pretty; well except for the GPS connection which broke contact with every large wave I used the same chartplotter on the Wilson and only very rarely - hitting a monster wall of water - would the system lose connection momentarily. So hopefully the re-wire will resolve that problem. Adding a fused connection box is great for managing indivudual circuits.
