Just to try and get me off the bototm of the table: doggie (LS) pout cod black bream mackerel garfish bass snapper yellowtail some small red spiky unpleasant looking thing I dragged up the beach

Up to 35, managed two Common Skate today withn Ronnie Campbell, 165lb and 157lb, Fie managed two as well, 160 and 109lb. No other bits though despite trying.

Not taking this seriously or nothing like that you understand but took a self drive around loch etive today and hooked up with 6 species, three of which I never had on my list. Spurdog, Thornback Ray and Grey Gurnard. As I said not taking it seriously Just a word on these self drive boats. £55 for the day for a 16' orkney styled boat, phenomenal value for money and great fun. If you ever get the chance to be up here then do it, great scenery, very sheltered loch and I have no doubt we never saw the best of the fishing but still maanged a dozen or so spurs to 7lb, 5 Thornies to 5 or 6lb, whiting, pout, pollack and yes that not sought after GREY gurnard

Had a good sessionlast night, in amongst a dozen or so pout I had a couopek of Bream, 4 Bass to over 3lb, Pollack and a cracking Sole of 2lb 8oz. Thats species number 40!!

Running out of species to catch now! A short session at 5am this morning, second cast and I got my first Alderney Small Eyed!! Thats 41.

Went squidding laast night, had 5 and dropped a few as you do. Put a bottom rod down on the off chance and winkled out a black goby. Mate alongside me had two codling though, know which I preferred! Thats me on 42.
