Crab traps

a few years ago had a few traps out to get my peelers and didnt think anything of dragging old tyres ,corrogated sheets and pipes onto the beach and dumping them. does anybody know of anyone who has had a brushing with the law for 'dumping, polluting etc' or fined? with spring around the corner and the first peel not far away im debating what traps to use, how many and is it worth it?

apparently the law is....usually that if you dont return to said objects within two days placed in the mud you can be prosecuted for fly tippng or dumping .........
