Has anyone had any experiences with the Wilson 23 e.g how do they cope with motoring into a head on sea such as a force 4-5 Solent chop? If they slam can a centre hull be added to the bow to stop this? Any views greatfully recieved.

Nice boats, they do slam a bit as do most dory hulls. The beam is a bit narrow as well at 7ft (the same as a wilson 20).

Thanks for your views, thats helpful that you have used one in the Solent for years. I am looking to carry out my work by boat and if I leave Chichester or similar and there is a force 5 blowing I still need to be able to get back to the Hamble or me tea will get cold!
