Haslar is okay on Neaps for 3 hours either side of high. Just make sure you go no more than 30 foot parallel to the shore and then turn right and head straight out to the main channel. This avoids the row of rocks to the right of the slipway.....nothing worse than props on rocks I've never tried Hardway. There are two around that area. The one with the most water is next to Premier Marina (used to be Camper & Nicholson); but it is very narrow and has a sheer ledge at the end...so you cannot use it on low water. Hardway itself is very shallow, except at high tide. I decided not to launch my dinghy from there !!!!

Hardway is a good slip with limited parking. Its tidal so only usable at high tide. Only launched a dinghy from there but there is a pontoon you can moor to.

Oh ..and plenty of free parking on the gravel carpark.... well the marina never inforce the parking charge on that bit...very nice people Remember to put your antenna down if the tide is right in....can be a bit tight going under the road bridge
