iv got 1 of these on my boat the 3 square lights stay on all the time is this right? any help on this gauge would be top donky olly

it looks like those lights are you oil level mate, is it topped up with oil?
and is it even wired up and working?

hiya scotty its a 2stroke so no engine oil but it is a injection oil engine.when i turn on the key 1 light comes on then the other 2 come on with in 5 seconds so id say yes its wired up

saying that now iv looked at the pic could it be the 2 stroke oil level as the engine has a level sensor

iv got 1 of these on my boat the 3 square lights stay on all the time is this right? any help on this gauge would be top donky olly The centre column of lights measure the two stroke oil level The circle at the bottom shows empty The circle at the top shows full White lights show the level, all three means the tank is full When the level drops (to 1 litre on a DT140) Red light comes on and the buzzer sounds. The oil light on the right is an Oil flow warning, if the oil flow to the pump is blocked it'll light and the buzzer will sound. The REV light will come on if engine speed reaches the maximum allowable RPM or when any of the other caution systems is activated. Temp = Over temp, insufficient water in the cooling system. (Buzzer will sound and the Over-Revolution Caution system will be activated.

iv also found out what the problem was with my engine dieing to tickover revs it was the thermostat not opening and the sensor the modulated the throtle sensor
spoke to kevin mole who as now orded me a replacement stat
