If you are looking for charter boats there are several good ones in eastbourne marina, a couple in rye harbour though they are governed by the tide and some in dover and folkestone. A 20/30lb outfit would be a good starting point.

Welcome to the forum Tony, there are plenty of good charter boats out of dover, also the Prince of Wales Peir at Dover is suitable for disabled people, as you can drive right onto were you fish. Tight lines M.I.B

Hi, OK thanks to everyone for the tips, well getting my gear sorted out and have a few boats in mind now, do you have to wear a life jacket? as i would like to get one and have never seen one on a fishing boat??i have been out on fishing boats but not since i had a bad day in Brighton were the skipper put his radio on the RNLI channel he told us it was a 7-8 Yes i did have to change my pants that day. That was a Good few years ago i cant remember the boats name now,all i can remember is kissing the ground when we got to shore again.
