www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=12291058&l=bdc79a5054&id=787005724earlier in the week i slung a few plugs from the yak at a spot that gave me a 6lb fish the evening before. started to fish at slack water and then when the tide started to flood...bang, fish on. stripped a bit of line and then turned into a nodding dead weight Fish grips at the ready, the dark shape came along side the yak only to find a brace of 4lb fish rolling over eachother next to me each with a treble. Fish flapping everywhere and hooks going into my dry trousers decided to paddle ashore to sort them out and release them. im useless with computers, a link to my fb was the best i could do.

Never had a double hook up on the same lure, That must be some lure, they obviously like that one, congrats. By the way you asked me what lure worked with my fish. I use the trusty rapala J11 perch pattern. Ive caught a lot of fish on this same lure which ive had for nearly three years now. Ive had a nine and a half pound salmon on it when fishing up on scottisl loch lochy. I find the rapala,s to be trusty lures. What about you. Let me know.

yeah it was a first for me ive heard of it happening a few times before but never witnessed it. i was using the 18gm Maria angel kiss. The j11 has a good name for nailing the bass. its the only jointed lure i own. with the braid you get to feel exactly how its working. just wish they would hurry up and make a more shallow diving one! Lure of the moment for me is the holographic silver chase, just this week alone ive had 6 on it upto 6lb. You can cover so much water drifting in the yak its crazy. Its my first year on the yak and i feel like popeye already!

;D Interesting, I will get one and try it. Youre right about the depth j 11 dives to, but where I fish its just about right, at mid water. If im really shallow then it has to be a popper. But as you know its different lures for each different spot. Anyway, good to exchange info with you, hope you continue to have good year on the yak, for me, the best way to fish for bass.
