hi all im about to buy a new boat i want to get it insured but i am a bit nieve aboat what it covers. i want it to cover theft, liability whilst at sea accidental damage whilst towing to both me and other parties. is this standard boat insurance . i would be gratefull if anyone could reccomend any decent companys the boat is an orkney 440 thanks and regards dave

google boat insurance - theres lots of choice and study the policies try gjw and haven knox jonson 2 reputable companies personally I have found haven unbeatable but but but you must study the small print to know what you are getting good luck

I've got my Orknet with haven Knox Johnson. They were the chepaest once, and dont seem to go up much each year.

I use HKJ and everytime I add something they don`t charge extra i.e new aux new electronics an extra £1900 on overall no charge
