hi I want to spend the day lure fishing along Rocken End, after a bit of info regarding depth of lures to use. Ive got a bass bullet, chug bug, dexter and toby lures. Any of these suitable for here? Also thinking about trying some float fishing, worthwhile. Never fished here before so any info would be greatly recieved! ;D

To be honest i've had my best fishing down there when the mackeral have been showing in full force, ( July - August ) i've used the dependable dexter to catch both macky and bass, using small joeys and big mack baits after to catch the bigger bass. N.B other people caught monsters on the joeys, i had jeff all but percitence will pay dividends I'm told!!

If you just want to catch mackerel, garfish, small pollack, even small wrasse etc then use a Dexter all day. If you want to attempt to target bigger bass then consider other lures, from your first post I can see you've got the right idea already. Dawn and dusk
