susuki 15hp fuel mix ?

ive got an older 15hp susuki does anyone know what the right feul mix is suppose to be, ive tried it at 50:1 and it seemed very sluggish with my 14ft boat and my max speed was 6knotts with no tide movement

What year and model is the engine.
What type of 14ft boat is it? Depending on the type, if it's a displacement hull 6knts is all it'll ever do.
