before i do all the electrics on my boat i want to give her a coat of paint. the boat sits on a trailer in my garage for most of the time but before i bought it, it had a coating of anti fouling on the bottom of the hull. the boat isnt in the water permanantly so i know i dont need antifouling. can anyone give me some advice on what paint to use for the cuddy and general upper surfaces inside and out. also what paint for the hull. im looking for a good glossy finish. do i need any sort of primer or undercoat. many thanks

Take a look at the International Boat Paint site Here, you'll find all the info you want.

hi ive done a couple and found International Boat Paint to be good . after a good rub down a lot easer with a power sander, use there under coat then a couple coats of gloss and its very shiney. as for the insides including the cabin ive alays used plain dulux or crown seems to do the job fine.

I've used commercial 2-pack polyurethane warehouse floor paint for my deck...a lot cheapr and better resistance than normal deck paint.
Other than that, as the guys say - International. especially their 2-pack stuff

International perfection. Its 2-pack, very good stuff As already mentioned, the prep work is the key to a good finish!
