Hey, wondering if someone could help, is there a program that i can get thats the interactive version of the paper chart maps you get, one that tells you the GPS coordinates of places on the map?

Adam, I bought this a few years back (Admiralty E-Chart Plotter Software) - allows you to hover the cursor over the map and take the GPS co-ords....became superseeded when I got my gps plotter, but still use now and then... www.thomasgunn.com/Downloads/Digital/AdmiraltyRYAElectronicChartPlotter.pdf Not sure if there is a free e-version or similar on the net?? |

Download PC Plotter trial version, it has a chart from Selsey to the Needles including Southampton Water. You can get co-ords and put marks on but you can't print the map from the trial version. To print the map I print screen then insert it into Paintshop, pick the area I want to print and print it off. You'll need some sort of program to insert into if you haven't got paintshop, there's a lot around, maybe someone on the site could help finding a suitable program.

I bought a disk off Ebay - it's a plotter with all the charts on. I run it on my laptop, on the boat.
