;)Hi, have just joined and hope this is the correct way to introduce myself! Have lived in and fished the Southampton and Solent areas for many years. My friend and I have just bought a Falkland Fisher 16.5 foot fishing boat. 50hp Honda main engine and 5hp Honda auxilliary. We have fished the Solent throughout this summer and have had some success. This is our first foray into boat fishing as we have been shore/beach fisherman to date. I appreciate that fishing marks are generally closely guarded secrets but hope to pick up and pass on a few tips in this forum. Looking forward to many posts in the future. Kind regards to all.

Big welcome to the forum Chris......I joined under my (then) boat name ...Sunny Girl You can modify your profile later if you want to change the displayed name. Or if you want you could just start a new account...could save you problems explaining your gender in the future Anyway...its good to have you on board ...and your fishing buddy. If you want some basic Solent marks I'm sure we can help out there. Some are poretty obvious... biut the guys will keep their favourites close to their chests Good luck with the rerst of your season Nick
