My auxiliary has gone. Its a Mariner 5hp 4st longshaft and it was stolen between 25th Sept and today. Cobbs is in Poole harbour but it could end up anywhere. If you are offered one on the cheap I'd appreciate a nod as there were some telltale marks. Police informed.  |

Thieving gits should be castrated. They must realise that we are not super rich and have to work bloomin for our toys !
Cobbs is a busy area as well...suprised that no one saw anything...unless it was well in to the night.

Probably the same thieving gits who tried to steal my auxillary last night. I'm only 2 miles from Cobbs Quay. The boat is in my driveway.
Luckily I happened to go outside at 21:30 and disturbed them, they legged it down the road.
It was a close thing, the lock had been cut with bolt croppers and the clamps were undone, another minute or so and it would have gone.
Apparently they've also targeted the RMYC at Sandbanks.
