hi iv got a gpsmap 2006c.iv just got my new evermore SA320 smart antenna
ok so the antenna wireing says
Wire Color Designation Violet NC Red VCC, Power Supply ( VDC 9V-34V) Brown NC Green RS-232 Transmit Tx, Output Signal Blue NC White RS-232 Receiver Rx, Input Signal Black Ground Gray Shield Wire, Signal Ground
the chartplotter says
port 4 out = green port 4 in = white
im not sure witch is tx and rx on the port4 in and port4 out
any of you no what wire goes to what wire?

Olly ....download the antenna wiring spec and then phone Garmin Support....they will talk you through the correct connection scheme
Why can't the bloomin manufacturer's just use a standard wiring colouration scheme....selfish buggers

Antenna black to ground If that does not work: Chart plotter green to grey shield wire (usually a bare wire) Chart plotter white to green Antenna red to the same power source as plotter. Antenna black to ground The second option is what worked for my Raymarine plotter using an SA320. However, the first option works on my DSC radion
