Had hoped to fish Chesil Saturday but the winds put paid to that and I had to settle for a quick trip to the Needles Sunday. Quick because the tide was massive so I was only able to fish at the slacker part.More about quick later ;D Launched at Keyhaven around 1430 and I was able to use the Northerly wind to sail the yak right out and past the Needles. In the Solent on the way out the helicopter was up to something just off of Fort Albert Wish I knew where the zoom button is on my new camera ;D It's the little black speck ;D Found a pot bouy inshore before the spoils in 65ft of water and attached the yak for a fish producing only doggies and pout that's fishing Left the mark for the return journey around 1730 as the sun was beginning to set over the Needles Hopefully the weather is up to scratch next weekend so I can spend more time there on the neap. As promised, more on the quick ;DI took this video on the way out as I was doing 9.5mph past the North Shingles Bouy www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5jTpnsuRF4
