these QL trim tabs are the new(ish) rage on alot of boats at the moment and we dont get many problems with them. www.motortechmarine.co.uk/department/ql-boat-trim-system/thay have a blade which drops down and work in the same way as a normal trim tab. if you shop around you'll get them 15% cheaper than on this web site cheers john

iv got manual tabs on my boat they do a real good job when i got them set up

I paid less than half that for the Bennett Tabs I fitted to my previous boat. I got them from Magic Marine at Broadstone. Magic MarineThanks all for the tips so far Brian, I found their site this lunchtime.......and it was interesting to read the differences between Electric Motor and Hydraulic Tabs.... Bennets seem to be the benchmark. I need the capability to adjust the list more than the tilt (although it has advantages on getting up on the plane - which some claim saves fuel). Where I made changes to my centre of gravity it has meant that the boat will list too easily to port. Cheers guys Nick

My previous boat was too stern heavy to plane until I fitted them.
