Having browsed the forum for some time, have finally taken the plunge and signed up.
Had a long break from fishing, but started to get back into it over the past two years. Every attempt to get out amongst the cod has been foiled by the weather this winter, so hope to post some catch reports in the new year.

Think that I will write off this season, as the rare chances that I get a chance to get out in a boat seem doomed to failure.
Can look forward to the warmer weather, and get my reels serviced instead.

Stick at it for January, get the reels serviced in Feb when everything goes quiet!

Cheers Loopy, will give it a go. Have to do something with all of the squid that I have taking up the freezer.
Suggested to the wife that she might like something different for xmas dinner if she needed it out of the way. Don't think that she was too impressed.
