looking forward to reading your catch reports... plenty of pictures if you can; Good luck Nick I was out yesterday, about 4 or so miles off Old Harry. It was pretty lumpy out there and VERY VERY cold. I was armed with the camera (just in case) but not even a sniff i'm afraid. Oh well, thats it for a few weeks as I have to get her ready for the coming year. New radar, fishfinder, GPS and radio to fit as well as clean and paint the deck and hopefully sort out some seating arrangement on the deck that isn't too obtrusive. Once again, Thanks for the welcome and hopefully we can share some stories as the year progresses.

Best time of the year as the fishing is not brilliant. A few of the guys have done photo reports of their re-fits on the Boat section ... can be great for giving the rest of us ideas and something to chat about.... give it a thought. Cheers Nick

I have followed your threads with interest Nick. I too have a Raider 18 Wheelhouse (although one of the supposed jelly mould Polish ones).
The windscreen wiper thread was of particular interest.

Good luck with them.... drove me mad But what a great bit of kit when you are ploughing into the waves. Worth every penny and the effort to fit them.

I have been out a couple of times and struggled with vision on the return journey with either rain, spray or worse still Fog!
Thought a radar may help (which I have recently bought from the London Boatshow) but I like the thought of windscreen wipers too.
I doubt you will be getting yours out this weekend with this weather blowing up!

I doubt you will be getting yours out this weekend with this weather blowing up! Bringing her out of the water tomorrow. Replacing the 100 4-stroke with a 150 2-stroke. Antifoul and load of repairs to do as well...get her ready for the arrival of the Tope and Bass in April.
