A belated introduction of myself. This site was recommended to me by the estimable eccles, with whom I enjoyed the sunshine on Hayling beach this morning in search of a strange and elusive fish called a "plaice". Apparently they are flat and appear in March, though frankly I think they are just a myth.
So no plaice or anything else, but I did witness my beautiful and glittering rig sail into the sun towing a shining shockleader which separated itself from my mainline for some unaccountable reason. I think the plaice gods don't like me.
