Can anyone help. When i upload photos from my iphone to photobucket, and then copy photos from photobucket to add to thread on this site, they end up quite small and not the usual larger size. Any tips anyone. Many thanks.

I don't know any specifics on iphone pic properties, and what they default to. I normally set my pic properties and sizes before uploading to Photobucket - but that's on my PC. If your pics are already uploaded to photobucket, there is an EDIT option, when you're logged into photobucket and looking at an individual pic in album view. It's a bit slow but might help in this case. The screengrabs below are taken from a PC, your options on iphone may well be different. Select EditSelect Resize to tell you what you've got and Preset Sizes to choose from some preset pic sizes You can then save the pic and it should display at the chosen size when you next view or preview the post with the pic links. Hope that makes sense...

There are a few bits of software around to do this, e.g. paid-for PC screen grabbers like Hypersnap and Snagit, and some free ones too, e.g. ScreenHunter Free, or Screen Grab. They'll normally allow you to save your screengrab as a file or paste it into something else. All of these (I think) are on download.cnet.com which I've found a reliable source, and often has reviews. It pays to take care nowadays where you download from and avoid any ads or pop-ups for free scans on your PC (a strong come-on for a product at best, pretty nasty malware at worst). I normally use irfanview to crop a screengrab into something I can use It's basic free image-editing software which does plenty of useful stuff though it's nothing like as sophisticated as something like Photoshop.

Thanks for that, I'm sure others have found useful too
