If you like me still prefer to use chemical lights on your rod tips at night, you might like to consider this little gadget. For years I have used easy tear cellotape but it doesn't always stick well if the weather is dampish. Now I use little nylon clips which a bloke on ebay sells for £1.50/pair plus P&P. Calls himself Buttcracker if you want to go searching.

I've got an inch of silicon tube whipped on to most of my tips - got fed up fiddling arouhd with all those clips and tape

Calls himself Buttcracker if you want to go searching. i just stick on some tube with some electrical tape and just pop the lights in and out as needed sorry but if the mrs finds out i have been googling buttcracker, i might be in trouble
