Took the yak out today for another crack at the Bream. Fished last 2 hours of the flood and 1st hour saw 3 Bream to the yak. Hung around for the turn and chucked a lure over slack for a Macky or Bass, not a lot there. The ebb was crazy fishing - another 12 Bream to 3LB. Left at 7 and took a tour of the mudflats and a spot of Bass fishing - managed 2 Basslets and loads of missed takes! Great day out on the Solent!

Excellent, well done, must get down there and a have try. How do you find the boat traffic in Solent? None to speak of in between Tanners Lane and the Boom. Crossed over a couple of times last year from Keyhaven to IOW side and you need watch out then and make sure you don't cross if any tankers within 5 Miles of you - they shift more than you think! But didn't have any "moments"!

As you say traffic not really an issue at Tanners, bit more depth at the boom, but they'll keep clear of it ;D hopefully bigger Bream
