HI all...First I would like to apologize for not introducing myself earlier. I have been a member of the forum for some time, but I am rubbish on the computer, and I totally missed the whole intro bit, so here goes… I was born and brought up on the Isle of Wight, and have been fishing for as long as I care to remember, I use to do a fair bit of match fishing from the shore, but now days it all from the boat, and I still love every bite and take as much as always, I’m sure it does something to the brain that makes you want more.. As a nipper my Dad use to drop me off on the commercial fishing boats in the morning and pick me up sometime later, I was like a mascot, or a pain, either way I enjoyed myself. It was a good early learning ground. Now I am on the mainland and I run my charter boat “OPTIMIST” out of Gosport, where I am lucky enough to meet lots of colourful characters, a few of the forum members have been on board, and I see plenty I recognise from the forum in their own boats, so if you’re in trouble don’t be frightened to ask for help. I will if I can. All the best and tight lines Matt.

Andy....Yeah I'm going, But on the Wednesday. I've been speaking with nick at swift cat. I think they're taking a new 10.6m charter with a full wheel house to the show. but I prefer the island wheel house, its better for drifting.I can't get to excited until I sell my!!!

Good luck with selling your boat Matt - it's certainly got the right name to be hoping for a sale..
I sometimes see you leaving Gosport from land - I'll give you a wave next time if you're looking in the right direction.
