Well the colder weather will be here soon enough and although I have neoprene lined wellies, I still prefer something more like a walking boot. So having made a few bob lately doing some gardening, I decided to do some 'net searching to see what was available for sensible money. Eventually I discovered a trader on Amazon doing waterproof zip up ankle boots well insulated for just £25. Ordered them and they arrived yesterday. I have to tell you folks, these have really thick insulation so much so that I had to really push my foot in to get through it although no doubt it will get easier with wear. I suppose you could call them bikers' winter boots but they call them wilderness snow/mud boots, anyway I am looking forward to warm feet this autumn on the beach for just £25, can't be bad eh?
