Been using this now for around four years, it is such a good line for the price that I've decided to recommend it. Well, I have already recommended it to at least three others and it is pretty tough - I have now got into the habit of leaving it on the reel (FS) for a whole year. I suspect it would go on longer but not prepared to risk it on Hayling's shingly beaches. The main characteristic which I like is that it is quite floppy so that it never shows any signs of "looping" as it goes up through the rings and I know that some other lines seem to do this all the time. It is also relatively cheap - bought a couple of 4oz spools of 18lb the other day for just £7.75 from an ebayer. I always choose the hi-viz yellow because it's easy for me and more importantly the birds to see. Have you ever had a tussle with an angry seagull which has gotten entangled in your line - not a pleasant experience.
