Anybody tried this bait, especially in the winter when times get hard? I've heard of frozen shrimps but no idea where to get these!
I'm scanning the supermarkets for natural undoctored baits for two months of scratching in Easterlies. Anyone tried supermarket fresh mussels too?
Seems too easy!

try wholesale store for uncooked frozen mussels, go to females species web site and read my advice for using with squid i can assure you it works, try frozen anchovy on 4/o pulley pennel bound with bait elastic ,deadly on a summers evening for bass, change every 15 mins, another tip, squid rings cut up for whiting in winter and bream in summer, quick easy and clean. i always have a rig ready baited in cool box with quick re-lease link so you can be back fishing while you unhook fish. wholesalers also sell big uncooked prawns tight lines mate regards trigger.

Cheers guys. Seen Asda and tesco stock uncooked frozen prawns too. Found out Waitrose live mussels are worth a few quid and work, even though they are brushed and from Scotland Defo a good bait for bream i'm told considering they hunt over rough ground and used to them.
