3 Piece Beachcaster

Have you ever owned a three piece Beachcaster which will cast at least a 6oz lead, I have limited room and need a rod that is capable of bringing in weed as well as big fish.
Any advice would be welcome, I would like a rod about 13ft in length, and i fish with fixed spool reels.

The weather is slowly warming up so lets hope the fish arrive

Understand your problem mate, I wrestled with it for a while too. Eventually I went for something a bit classy and got myself a pair of Abu Hellbenders. Slightly longer at 14 ft but light and strong. It doesn't take long to get used to the extra foot of length and gives a bit more casting distance if anything. They are specifically made for FS reels and I have used them for around three years now with no problems. If you decide to go for one, have a good look round for prices - I recently managed to get one for a mate for only £137.
