Long pink thing caught in the Solent today while feathering for mackerel. I do know what it is having caught one a lot of years ago in Weymouth. British record is 7 ounces and this was quite a bit bigger.   |

as you say very common down weymouth.
is that the first you've seen from the solent snowy?

Yes, first from this area, the only other one was from Weymouth (entrance to Portland Harbour) many years ago. In fact that one helped me win a boat comp which was points based.
