I was trying to tie a Zepplin bend tonight and couldn't help thinking it was uncessarily difficult to tie. So I tried making a knot that was easier to tie but that would also be easy to untie, even after being heavily loaded...Almost instantly I came up with a knot that I decided to call "The Easy bend", for the latter reasons. I checked and it also works when tying two ropes of different diameters together as well. I have compared it to all known bend type knots that I could find online and it seems different to all of them...Can anyone else here confirm if its a new knot, or not...

(and I were a boy sprout when I were a kid) I sent a message to the International Guild of Knot Tyers...If anyone knows it is them. Meanwhile I have invented yet another new knot...I call it the Tarp Knot: www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3jmpXL4Kcw&feature=youtu.be
