Just cheched the weather back home and it looks like a peach for boat angling from the Needles ......... anyone getting out?

Well as per usual et apathathyrules.co.uk Nick - 35 views - zilch input - all I can contribute is that Nipper went out off the Nab yesterday with one of Bembridges top skippers and all they had was a few Tings n Pout as far as I know although a mate of mine had 7 on board in the week - the biggest was 20lbs - as for the Needles - pass - I think a lot of people are reticent to post any catch reports for fear of trawler skippers reading the blogs perhaps ??

Nick (Aquajack) said he counted 70 odd boats there !!!!  The trawlers know more than the anglers where the cod are and won't be dependent on us to give them the nod as to when the cod are there. Forums always comprise readers-only, those that only post when they catch a monster and those that cannot shut-up (me) ;D |

The sunday i got out it was full of pleasure/charter boats, scratched out a few bits but no beasties, the coddings been intermittent as far as i can tell - Beaky and Henry aren't doing too badly.....  |
