Just a quick question i was thinking about trying for a bass, just wondering if they are even still about this time of year with the weather getting cold

Personally I would say yes - I will be trying - emphasis on trying - for one tomorrow Night - I know of someone who had a Double on New Years Day this year - Bon Chance

They show amongst the cod out in the boats, no reason why they shouldn't from the shore, few years back a friend of mine had a double from bembridge harbour around this time - had it on light gear, size 1 hook flatty bashing!
River can throw a few up too

Wow BK you really know your stuff when i comes to bass, the only bass i ever seem to catch is on a lure at yarmouth pier in the summer haha, so 2.5lb is my biggest, i saw someone catch a 8lb bar once and nearly wet myself ;D my turn will come.
