Off out with a mate flattie bashing tomorrow, from what ive read everyone has childhood memories etc of catching founder, not me !! Tried countless amount of times but doesnt happen only thing I havnt tried is a spoon any tips ?

Generally depends on where you can get to. Ref using a spoon you obviously need lighter spinning gear and ideally access to a boat/kayak or pontoon- anything with a decent amount of water around you. If you have trouble with getting any distance you can add a bullet lead near the spoon although this can affect the action on the spoon, good luck fella

not that extinct i have seen 3 today, all from ryde. that may of been the last of them though

Dyer and bk im going to agree with you both, flounder are extinct and next time ill go wrasse fishing.
Nearly 5hours in the dingy up and bloody down here there and everywhere but sod all !! not even a nibble, well better luck next time
