Jacks in Gambia Hi All First day of the new group in Gambia , Max went out to the wrecks again , this time slow trolling some livebaits for Dorado and the Big Cudas that come in , in the rainy season . But surprise surprise they got ram raided by a bunch of monster Jacks . 9 fish hooked up on Livebaits , Poppers and trolling lures . 4 smashed off , 5 landed smallest 39lbs , biggest 51lb . Also 2 other fish took trolling lures and crashed dived straight into the wreck , max seems to think they were Big Snappers or Groupers . But again its nice to see the diversity of fish that are turning up in Gambia , around these new wrecks. Virtually everyday we are finding something different , and different marks as well. Looks really good for the coming season , hope that we can keep it up. A photo of a memorable jack bash !!!. Attachments:

Sounds like an arm-busting session.... I have heard of trips like this where you get too exhausted to try for another fish
Thanks for the account/blog...

Yep great eating but we normally do them as sushi on the boat as soon as you catch them , when they are a few hours old thy are like Tuna .
