I have just received a message on another forum from someone one here (jrs54) he says when he logs on he's banned?
he has changed his password a couple of times, can you look into it for him?

Guys I have checked each of the accounts in question and they are all showing as REGISTERED, but NOT ACTIVATED They will have received an automated emails - to their respective email accounts - which they need to open and follow the ACTIVATION (link) process, to complete registration; otherwise it will simply display 'You are Banned from this forum' If this fails then let me know. Still not working from the activation link, here's the message he's getting

I created a test account tonight and it worked first time.
I will email Proboards and ask their technical help team what is causing this problem. But it isn't a generic problem, as there have been 10 new accounts created in the last ten days and several have been activated.
I know that doesn't help you immediately, so I will continue to work on it.

For those who have mates, who are experiencing difficulty with this accoutn problem......try setting up an account on their behalf, giving your own email address.
Activate the account for them and then they can logon and change the email address in PROFILE. This triggers a confirmation email to be sent to their own email address, which aligns the account to them personally...
In PROFILE they can then also change their password to suit themselves.......job done
Try this as a get-around solution; it what I have done for TOF
