i have a sonic sk3 boat rod 12-20 would this work for spinning on a pier

i have a sonic sk3 boat rod 12-20 would this work for spinning on a pier Got to be honest, I don't know the rod in question, but any rod that casts will be okay for spinning, depending on what you are casting. Obviously some rods are better suited to spinning. Also, some that are good for light lures will be useless for heavy rapala. There is no one-size fits all. A lot of my fishing here is with lures and I use a variety of rods, depending on the lure, distance and fish I am targetting. The other consideration is what reel size and line type. Most lure-anglers I know favour braid. What are you looking to chuck out ? |
