new/old boat owner

Hi all, i have just moved from Devon to scotland (dumfrise and galloway area) and decided that i was sck and tired of trying to get a single place on charters for when i actualy had time to go, so i did what any insane non thinking bumble head would do and when out and paid too much for a boat that needs more than a little help to stop it sinking/catching fire/self destructing!!!
i do like my fishing but havnt been for nearly 10 years!!!! so me and the boy now own a wreck (erm i mean boat). and hopefuly can get it sound enough to hold water long enough for a days fishing!

if anyone in our area fancies a day swimming  drowning  fishing then give me a shout! be warned i am the serious non humorous type

thanks all. spent last few days trying to get the boat into some kind of shape so i can take a trip out at the weekend. ummed and rrred then finaly decided i would get a new 5hp aux engine as despite being told non stop that the main engine was a 'goodun' i am not convinced yet!
a few bits to replace and should be almost ready!! going to look at a landy tommorow so i can tow the bloody boat and beach launch! origanaly i was going to use the wifes brand new astra! but apparently thats a no go.

I know where you are on that one...I have to use my wife's car to tow the boat and she is never impressed !
