hi guys, i use chemical tip lights when enjoying a bit of night fishing, but whats the best way to secure these? i've always used cellotape but in damp conditions it can be a little fiddly to attach. any links available to clips etc?
cheers, andy.

you can now buy then ones that come with a clip to fit the light in, or you can get the small bty powered ones that clip on

After several experiments over the years I think I have finally found the answer(s): The clips are made by an outfit called Enterprise Tackle and they have a website if you can't find them in a tackle shop. See here: enterprisetackle.co.uk/et45-sea-rod-nightlight-adaptorThey also make a really lightweight job called ET24 but you need a slim tip section for them to fit. I have now tried both for several months and they do stay put with the ET45 being particularly robust. The latter seems a bit pricey at £4 but they do include a couple of starlights and I suspect that they will last a very long time so have no hesitation in recommending them. It's a British firm too and does a lot of carp stuff for those of you who mess about in muddy puddles LOL.

I just bought a new gizmo that sorts the problem for ever and you don't get a neck ache from constantly staring up in the sky. Have a look at this chaps:- www.seabite.com/ It works well too,the batteries are only 10p each on Amazon and it is British made.
