Now the cloak of winter is here again, the dark is upon us.
So when is the best fishing results on these dark nights?
Now unlike you lot, I have the skill to catch fish in a desert, which I have done before.
But , for the average angler, would you rather fish a Neep tide when it's rough, or Springs on a calm night?
For me , the full moon has always been the biggest pain on night comps, especially on quite nights.
For me the ideal conditions are, spring tide, flooding, no moon, after a blow. That's a storm not a joint.
so if you lot had the choice of the perfect conditions to fish, what would they be?
Actually, thinking about it, it wasn't fish in the desert, it was Crabs in Marrakech. But it's still sea food and I enjoyed myself at the time, and it was a dark night!
Still I expect they little buggers have been over fished now, serves the buggers right who did it, hope they were French!

I'll take any tide after a good stir up down the back, Blackgang, Atherfield or Dutchmans for preference. Run off at Blackgang, 2.5 hours either side of HW the other 2. Non windy i prefer Fort Vic
