I caught a nice size Wrass the other week, and as a friend of mine swears they are wonderful eating , I took it home and tried it.
tasted like Pout, blande .
oh well you can but try

Steam or Poach. Frying also possible. Taste depends on what it has been eating. If it is like Pout you only try it once.

Always heard they were full of bones so never tried wrasse - ref the pout though they make a great filler in fish cakes/pie, just add anything smokey and or crab/salmon meat,touch of mustard and tarragon, lovely jubbly

An EXCELLENT herb to use with fish dishes either in a butter or white/cheese sauce, found it best with white fish and salmon. I also use it in a crab dish - see the recipes section

It sounds like I should stick to pizza.....mmmmmmmm peperoni and extra cheese on a thincrust base *drooling*
