This is a lugworm bed in my local loch. Only seen at very low tides. As far as I know it has never been fished. It is just 10 Metres from the high tide mark. Any point in draging a small rubber lug across it. Around 100 metres to a minor road.

wind dropped a little yesterday - sun almost out. Took my rockfish ul to my local rocks. 3 small pollock and at least 4 times as many good knocks on 7 g lure. good sport on such a light rod. lugworm bed is next target on a good high tide.

Managed to fish the spot in the picture on the only quiet 1/2 day in weeks and good high tide yesterday. Sadly blanked but may have had something to do with the 7 plus seals that were in the water at just about casting range. They were very interested in watching me closely.

Strange how they can put off the fish isn't it!! I had one seemingly follow me around Bembridge Harbour a few years back, had to move spot a couple of times, thought i'd lost it until i saw this massive bow wave following in one of my flounders, easiest fight/quickest retrieve ever i think!!
