As we all know there have been quite a few adverts posted on the site recently for kitchens.
Naturally I ,like all of us are against people using the site for adverts so I will be deadpan in my comments about it.
I know that when you post a thread you put your neck on the chopping block and some people want to fry you alive for your comments, but here goes.
The last advert did give me a few ideas, that I decided to try out.
Unfortunately, I was grilled by Mrs OldFart, about where I was going, but as she was in a bad mood I knew I would get moaned at if I stayed in or get moaned at if I went out.
So ,out of the frying pan and into the fire I went.
Well it was either that or stay at home and do the cleaning, and I am too old to become a dishwasher at my time of life.
Bloody hell, these winter nights are cold , it was like being in a freezer on the beach, but at least it was flat calm.
Not even a micro wave was washing up on the shore, it was that calm.
I sieved through my tackle box and decided to use a spoon for the Flatties.
As I stood there catching nothing I couldn't believe that it was only a few weeks ago when the summer was here and it was like being in an oven.
How the weather changes!
After an hour of nothing, I changed to a float, hoping that I would see it sink out of sight, but still nothing was cooking.
Finally I packed in.
Still because I hadn't caught any fish at least the car wasn't covered in scales.
As I drove home I knew my welcome would be frosty, a bit like walking into a fridge really.
No change there then.
So all said and done, I think it is a bloody good idea to delete the kitchen adverts after all
