Just a quick thread, and I expect you all know this already.
But there are lumps of Palm Oil washing in down the West, that is poisoning dogs who pick it up on the beaches, around one dead dog a week at the moment.
Google it and have a look as it may well end up on all beaches.
And if you wonder why I put this thread on its simple.
Your dog is your best friend, and this is how to prove it.
This weekend, when the other half is on the loo, chuck the dog in with her and shove a chair under the door handle so she can't get out.
Then go down the pub to watch the football, have a few more afterwards followed by a Curry and a game of Poker.
Then when you get back home at 2am open the door and see who is glad to see that your back!!!!
But seriously this stuff can kill, I wonder if it is deadly to kids in the summer who may pick it up. Reply please if you know , as I know that small kids will eat anything if you don't watch the little devils

Palm oil is used in loads of cosmetics and soaps...can't be poisonous to touch. Ingesting it is obviously not good

Since the start of this thread it has been well publicised, on TV and in the papers and how it can be deadly to animals as it has become contaminated.
However today my chum popped round with a load of the stuff that he had picked up off the beach at Compton and Freshwater Bay.
So it is all along the South coast, just take care with the Mutts.
Remember just going into a Vets is nearly as expensive a weeks holiday in the Dubai Hilton.
