Upon tonight's walkies when the tied was very low, Monty spied something in the shallows.
When we got to it it was a dead Tuna ,around 40-50 lbs.
Unfortunately it was very well dead and stank, still it shows that they are out there, presumably as the Mackerel diminish they have to go further afield for food.
My chum took a photo of said fish ,so if I can get nipper to work out how to do it I shall post a picture.
Tuna off the IOW. Strange!

Years ago we was on holiday in the Med and they had Tuna fishing trips.
They were quite expensive, and at the end of the advert it said.....
'All fish belong to the boat,,but you keep the PHOTOS!!'
We didn't go. Bloody cheek.

I had the same on a trip off Fuerteventura, we caught a load of bonito but, when we were about to take our catch back to the apartment we were told we paid for the privelege of catching them, not the fish themselves - this was NOT mentioned in the ad!!
I had a bit of a sense of humour failure

What a selfish attitude!
Surely like me you are only too glad to spend your hard earned, to go out in a boat all day catching fish for some other bugger to sell.
You should have lumped him one!
Hope you got the fish,,,, but as I have said on this forum before, some charter boats restrict your take home catch to two fish, so check before.
Then name and shame them!
