Well, raymond season is fast approaching, the weathers getting warmer so any available weather window = a yak pass!! (Provided i get an FP from the boss!!) Another early start produced another beautiful sunrise over Sandown bay Upon arrival i discovered some cheeky pretender had nabbed my spot!! After explaining that it was in fact MY bay they soon buggered off though!! Straight away i was in whiting central, this time around though i'd brought a third rod with a scratching set up to winkle a couple out for bait! Both the whiting i prepped were both absolutely choc full of these little critters, they look like a goby/blenny type effort but considering how many there were could it be something else? Didn't think goby's or blennies shoaled in any sort of numbers? After the first hour it completely died off, i couldn't even scratch out a Ting. I'd began having trouble with my anchor dragging, the wind had picked up, my pass had nearly ran out and my sense of humour was failing when one of my rods finally indicated a bite of better proportions! Once again another spotty, good size and a good scrap and it saved the trip from being a bit pony!! Still waiting on that undulate!!
