Just bought some new stuff from Highland tackle supplies .They tour the north of Scotland with a tackle road show. Next visit is the end of July in Skeabost on Skye. They get as far south as Onich nr Fort William (That's plenty far enough) 3 Savage Gear Panic Prey for under £20 but they claim the shrimp are the big catchers of Pollock at the moment My favourites are the Arctic Minnows - catch Pollock when all else fails. (no bass up here - so far) Three a day at Loch Pooltiel , Skye. Pollock to 2lb ; Coalfish (saithe) and Codling. All caught on Madfish lures - another Scottish maker - designed for north west coastal waters To cheer myself up - I have to go to Inverness for treatment (15min/day) 33 days - it's 140 miles from home. I bought some more madfish lures. "nasty Bill" ; Sycho Sid" and " Deadly Skye" They even catch big sandeels The Moray Firth is an area I have never fished before (If I get the chance) - can anyone help with some advice
