Well, a bloody good weather window co-incided with another pass, i didn't trust the winds enough to go for the weather buoy but there's another little used mark closer in near the pier that is reported as very productive by the senior yak danglers. Upon arrival i figured something was just telling me to try there!!



Sadly the rainbow was a bit of a red herring! It was SLOW! A few rattles in the daylight didn't come to anything, as darkness fell however both rods started bouncing in familiar fashion.... However.....



This gutty bugger picked up both my baits!! My first painted of the year, guesstimated around 7-8lb
After that i just got plagued by pout and bootlaces



Gary, all of 30 yards off my starboard was doing slightly better, he'd bagged a small thorny plus these two



A good undy plus something that's caused debate...



I'd say spotted all day long but a fair few seniors have mentioned small blonde.... My argument being the spots don't go to the edges all around it plus there's none of the usual circles of spots....
Two of our brother yakkers went for our usual haunt off of Shanklin and filled their boots!! loads of undies, big eels, bloody lying rainbow!!
