I haven't been on the site for over a year since the old chap died.

it seems the website is as dead as he is.

such a shame!

still what he said is coming true, dead seas with no fish in them

how he was ridiculed by others and other websites when he wrote that a few years ago .

now like the fish the readers to this site have gone

and we stood by and let it happen

shame on all of us!!

I read it lol just popped back on here myself, dead as hell! everyone uses facebook now but wsf is still going strong

The majority of fishing forums seems to be waning in interest. But anyone with any sense knew your father was right - catches have been poor for years, despite what the nutters on wsf said. Incidentally, now those crackpots have been banished, traffic wsf has declined too.

As for me, I haven't been sea fishing for about a year, and the hot weather and crowded beaches don't encourage me to.
